FounderAman Verma is the founder of Verma Tax and Accounting Solutions, with nearly 20 years of experience in public accounting and taxation. He established the firm in 2016, and today it serves small businesses, nonprofits, and individuals with complex tax situations, both on Long Island and across the country.
Aman built the firm around a straightforward idea: clients deserve an advisor they can trust and reach, not just a preparer they see once a year. That philosophy defines how the firm operates. Tax planning is proactive, addressed before year-end rather than after. Every completed return is reviewed with the client, line by line, so they understand exactly what they are signing. And Aman remains accessible throughout the year — in October as readily as in March.
Beyond the firm, Aman founded HOLDD (Hope of Light Despite Darkness), a nonprofit organization, during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. He serves on the boards of the Animal Cancer Foundation, the Smithtown Performing Arts Council, and his local Hindu temple, and is actively involved in local schools. He lives in the Smithtown area with his wife and two children, and works with clients in English, Hindi, Punjabi, and Spanish.

Tax DirectorChaisy Verma is an Enrolled Agent with more than 15 years of experience in public accounting and taxation. She trained in chartered accountancy in India and holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) from Delhi University — a foundation that gives her a rigorous, detail-driven approach to tax compliance and planning.
Over her career, Chaisy has advised clients across a broad range of industries — real estate, healthcare, legal services, film and television, retail and wholesale distribution, and high-net-worth families — handling everything from entity-level tax planning to complex individual returns. Her core focus is tax compliance and planning, delivered with genuinely personalized service: anticipating deadlines, minimizing tax burdens, and making sure clients understand the “why” behind every recommendation. She’s also a dedicated mentor, regularly guiding staff through the day-to-day realities of bookkeeping and tax work.
What keeps Chaisy passionate about the profession is that it never stands still — tax law is constantly evolving, and every industry brings its own challenges to solve for clients. She works with clients in English, Hindi, and Punjabi. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family, traveling, and immersing herself in nature.
